When is free really free?
There are many free basic web site hosting services where it costs you nothing to have your web site hosted. Some allow multiple pages, images, and even a form or two. Just be prepared for your site to wear big splashy rotating banner ads of which you have no control. These ads cover the cost of hosting and can actually be quite helpful for your visitors that need to refinance their homes.
Cipriani Systems offers free hosting - NOT ad supported - to all of our clients. Sites that include their own shopping cart and secure payment processor exchanges are hosted on either Virtual Dedicated or Dedicated Servers, which are not free.
There are hundreds, if not thousands, of hosting companies out there that are happy to host your web site. Their servers can be virtually anywhere in the world and work just about the same. Though most hosts are competent (security, contingency, performance) they most certainly are not all equal. Differences abound in user friendliness, product offering, support, bandwidth, uptime and pricing.
